About Angela Primm
Angela Primm is one of the premier voices of our time. Her musical history spans genres, continents, and audiences. She has commanded the attention of mega-stars from Aretha Franklin, Barbara Mandrel, and Brooks and Dunn to Southern Gospel music legends, Dolly Parton, and the late Vestal Goodman.
Angela’s background is what dreams are made of, and she is only beginning to step into the fullness of her purpose. Singing behind musical geniuses, Andre Crouch, Patti Austin, Bill Gaither, Gretchen Wilson and others, her four-octave soprano voice added rich tones and depth of sound to each artist’s recording. Angela Primm whose gift of song, love of the Gospel and Gospel music has catapulted her, as the Bible says, “before great men.”
Her current and inevitable step as solo artist is the natural progression of a life divinely designed. Angie is also a wife and business woman. True to her down-to-earth personality, she considers her most important achievement to be marrying her soul mate, John Primm. A successful business man as well as fine vocalist himself, he is Angie’s biggest fan, chauffeuring her and caring for her on many of her personal appearances. He knew how to love her 20 years ago and continues to do so to this day. Together, they established “Still Waters, Christian Light Club, Inc.,” a live Christian cabaret that never compromises the Gospel. The fresh and exciting show is a huge hit in Nashville!
Angela was raised in the church by her precious mother, who was also a singer. Angie’s mom would sing the foot-stompin’ and joyful, “Couldn’t Keep It To Myself!” with such fervor, she would often lose her wig; but she would swoop it up and place it back on her head – backwards, and not miss one beat of her favorite song! Church members would laugh and shout right along with her! (Telling this particular memory of her mother makes Angie rear back in laughter herself!) “Couldn’t Keep It To Myself!” is also a favorite song of Gospel legend, Bill Gaither and is featured on Angela Primm’s sophomore project, Sanctuary. This CD along with her debut CD, A Little Bit of Heaven have been selling out wherever Angie performs – from concerts to cruises.
Bill and Gloria Gaither have embraced her as a daughter and always make room for her to sing in their sold-out concerts and Gaither videos. Angie’s beautifully wide smile lights up a room and her fun-filled disposition carry an exuberance that is electric and contagious! Moreover, her anointed and powerful voice makes the cares of this world melt into puddles at your feet. Angela Primm is “a little bit of heaven” to those blessed to know her, or experience her music, her joy, and her wonderful laugh!
What lies ahead for Angela Primm? Her future rests securely in God’s hands. But one thing we know for sure is that wherever Angie goes, and whatever Angie does, she will be giving her heart and soul to the people God loves, for the love of her Lord. That’s the way it was, the way it is, and the way it always will be.

CATHEDRALS FAMILY REUNION Releases New LIVE CD and DVD
July 23rd, 2014—NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Gaither Music Group and Innovative Management and Consulting, LLC (IMC) have announced the release of an all-new CD and DVD entitled Cathedrals Family Reunion Past Members Reunite LIVE in Concert.
The recordings, which will be available on September 2nd, capture the historical concerts that took place on November 8th and 9th, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the MacGorman Performing Arts Center where five former members of the legendary Cathedrals combined voices to celebrate the group’s legacy and pay honor to its founders Glen Payne and George Younce.
The two-day event featured performances by tenor Ernie Haase and his GRAMMY®-nominated quartet Ernie Haase & Signature Sound; baritone Scott Fowler and Legacy Five (a group he co-founded after The Cathedrals retired); lead vocalist and piano player Gerald Wolfe and Greater Vision (the heralded trio he formed upon leaving the group); beloved baritone and bass player Mark Trammel and The Mark Trammel Quartet; and tenor Danny Funderburk, now a popular solo artist and household name among gospel music lovers. The recordings, an encouraging walk down memory lane, are a tribute to group members Payne and Younce, two patriarchs and mentors who were an inspiration to countless singers for many decades. “Doing these great time-honored songs in the studio was great,” described Haase. “We thought that was all there would be of the experience. Then to sing them ‘live’ with each other was beyond words. To have had that one special night captured ‘live’ on DVD & CD was truly a bonus blessing. Hardly ever can you capture heart, emotion and spirit the way it actually happens in a live setting. Well, I for one feel that is exactly what has happened. Get ready to laugh a little and cry a lot…I sure did.”
The sold-out event marked the first time these five acclaimed vocalists had joined together to perform some of the most loved hits by The Cathedrals, whose career spanned over 35 years. The concert brought back countless memories for the singers and the audience alike, and the stories they shared left the congregation moved and inspired…and wanting more. The overwhelming response has resulted in a national tour in six select markets organized by IMC in association with Showcase Management. The tour will start this November in Akron, Ohio, the birthplace of the original Cathedral Quartet where it all began.
As with the original reunion event, each weekend will focus on celebrating the legacy of the iconic Cathedral Quartet, featuring music from each of the current artists as well as performances by this special Cathedrals Family Reunion line-up. The weekends will also feature memorabilia displays, special matinees, a behind-the-scenes Q&A session, a chance to tour “Silhouette” (the last tour bus The Cathedrals used) and more.
Produced by award-winning producer/songwriter Wayne Haun, the Cathedrals Family Reunion Past Members Reunite LIVE in Concert CD contains classic hits such as “Wedding Music,” “Yesterday,” “Somebody Touched Me,” “Step into the Water,” “Oh, What a Savior,” “Champion of Love,” “We Shall See Jesus” and more. The companion DVD, produced by IMC’s Landon Beene, contains 17 songs including additions “Oh, Come Along,” “We Shall Be Caught Up,” “Search Me O God” and more.

Award-winning Ernie Haase & Signature Sound to Release All-new CD and DVD Oh What a Savior
New LIVE Recordings Air on Various TV Networks
Acclaimed Gospel Group to Share Stories Behind the Music on SIRIUS XM’s “Daniel Britt & Friends” Broadcast
February 3rd, 2014—NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Award-winning and GRAMMY® –nominated quartet Ernie Haase & Signature Sound are releasing an all-new CD and DVD this week. Oh What a Savior, a LIVE project recorded at the Carson Center in Paducah, Ky., was produced by GMA DOVE Award-winning producer and songwriter Wayne Haun.
The group, which features Ernie Haase, Doug Anderson, Devin McGlamery and Paul Harkey, brought their hallmark energy to the stage to perform Gospel standards such as “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,” “Heavenly Parade,” “Up Above My Head (I Hear Music in the Air),” “Noah Found Grace in the Eyes of the Lord” and “Scars in the Hands of Jesus” as well as a new, crowd-stirring arrangement of “When the Saints Go Marching In.”
“We sang ‘This Ol’ House’ while in Chennai, India, a couple of years ago; and we included a bridge of ‘When the Saints Go Marching In’ as part of that arrangement,” recalls Haase. “When we began to sing the bridge the crowd exploded. We decided right then we needed to do our own arrangement of this Gospel standard.”
One of the group’s most requested Gospel standards ongoing is Haase’s now signature rendition of the title cut, “Oh What a Savior.”
“I never tire of singing this song,” Haase describes. “To have a song people demand you sing is a career maker to say the least. However, to have audiences sing along with you and take the song away from you takes things to another level. Dare I say a ‘heavenly level.’ That's worship!”
In addition to popular favorites, the group recorded several brand new songs on the release including the intimate “Shh, Be Still,” sung around the piano; the first radio single “That’s Why (I Love Him So)”; and “Sometimes I Wonder.” The group was joined throughout the evening by special guests including the trio Beyond the Ashes, Gaither HOMECOMING favorite Wesley Pritchard and Broadway sensation J.Mark McVey (Les Miserables) who joined the quartet for a chilling rendition of The Sound of Music standard “Climb Every Mountain.”
"We hope listeners and viewers of the new release will experience joy, hope and encouragement,” stated Haase. “These are tough times that we are living in, and I believe God placed Signature Sound here for a time such as this to be a bright light."
Oh What a Savior has been airing on national tv networks including RFD, DISH TV, DIRECTV, TBN, Family Net, FFE, RURAL TV, TNN, Airtime, CTN, The Walk TV (formerly Legacy), TCT and TLN and also in Canada on Vision TV, CTS, Grace TV and the Miracle Channel. The DVD is also featured on Gaither TV (available on Roku, Google TV and the Internet).
The group will be featured on the next two broadcasts of “Daniel Britt & Friends,” a Gospel radio show on SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio’s enLighten channel (Sirius XM Channel 65). The guys share stories from the road, describe the making of the Oh What a Savior recording and preview songs from the new release. The one-hour shows will air as follows: Monday, February 3rd, at 7PM EST; Thursday, February 6th at 10PM EST; and Saturday, February 8th, at 12PM/NOON EST.
The new CD and DVD, available on February 4th, are exclusively distributed by Capitol Christian Distribution and are available throughout general market stores and the Christian marketplace in addition to online retailers including erniehaase.com, iTunes, Amazon and Gaither.com.

Gene McDonald Performs With Oak Ridge Boys For President George H.W. Bush
Nashville, TN (July 1,2013) Earlier this year multi-talented Bass singer Gene McDonald had the privilege of singing Bass with the sensational award winning Oak Ridge Boys. With Bass singer Richard Sturbin out of commission with a foot surgery the Oaks called upon Gene McDonald to sing the Bass notes for them.
Gene said “Singing with the Oaks is always special, but this time we sang for the 88 year old President George H.W. Bush and his lovely wife Barbara at their home in Houston, TX.”
It would seem that the former President's favorite song of the Oaks is “Elvira” and Gene can cover those low bass notes with ease. It would seem that every time President Bush hears those sweet harmonies mixed with the tune of “Elvira” his spirits are lifted.
Now that the excitement of singing for the Bush's is over, Gene is back to singing on the stage as the featured Bass singer at all of the Gaither Homecoming Concerts.
Below is a video of the Oak Ridge Boys and Gene singing:
You can learn more about Gene McDonald by going to http://www.genemcdonaldmusic.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/genemcdonaldmusic

About Gene McDonald
Gene McDonald started his career with his family group singing tenor. He then sang tenor with Jack Campbell and the Ambassadors through his school years. “One day I woke up and my voice was a couple of octaves lower and I was a bass singer.” commented Gene about his low vocal abilities.
While at Arkansas State University, he studied under one of the leading choral directors in the nation, Al Skoog. He later went to Ben Speer School of Music.
In 1989, Gene began singing with the Plainsmen Quartet and toured with them until 1992. He later went on to sing and record hits with the Florida Boys, touring from 1998 to 2007. Gaither Productions invited Gene to join the Homecoming Family for his first taping in 1994. He currently still travels with the Homecoming Friends across the globe.
Gene has a great gift and one of the richest voices ever heard. Noted by Bill Gaither as the Dean of all Bass’, Gene is held at high esteem for being the best in the circuit. However, he is MORE than just the best Bass singer. He does have the most prominent Bass voice, but he is by far, one of the “best singers” to ever grace the stage. God has given this man a great gift, a great talent.

Gaither Homecoming Artist Gene McDonald Signs Extensive Publicity Agreement With AG Publicity
Nashville, TN (June 7, 2013) Renowned Bass singer and Gaither Homecoming Artist Gene McDonald has signed an extensive publicity agreement with AG Publicity.
Deon Unthank, President of AG Publicity said “We are so excited to welcome the caliber of talent that Gene brings to not only our company, but to the Gospel Music arena itself. Not only is Gene the best Bass singer in Southern Gospel Music, but he is just one of the nicest guys you could ever want to meet.”
Gene has been asked to sing bass for a couple of trios wanting a bass singer for certain songs, including the Booth Brothers and Greater Vision.
Director of Client Relations, Pamela Unthank noted “Gene and Teri McDonald were two of the first people I met at NQC in my official introduction to Southern Gospel Music. I have always liked them personally and have found them to be people of integrity, so I am thrilled to have the privilege of representing them on a professional level.”
Gene stated “I have been aware of the quality of work the Unthanks have been doing in the industry, so I am looking forward to this joint venture with them.”

About Gene McDonald
Gene McDonald began singing early in life, singing tenor with his family. Which included his dad, mother and his sister, traveling across the Midwest from 1968 to 1980. He went on to sing with Jack Campbell and the Ambassadors. In 1982 that tenor voice changed to flourishing bass.
