About HIGHROADIII
In a world where conformity is king and following the crowd is practically a survival instinct, the women of HIGHROADIII, an award-winning Appalachian gospel group from Nashville who just happen to be the best of friends, too, have always preferred the road less traveled.

And so it’s fitting that the trio’s new album, which also features the girls’ inventive instrumentation, would bear the same name. Filled with the beautiful, haunting melodies and vocals that have been the group’s hallmark, Sarah Davison, Anna Grace Shideler and Kiley Phillips, all graduates of Belmont University’s prestigious School of Music, feel the songs from The Road Less Traveled reflect their personal journey of being set apart.

First Gospel Concert At Loretta Lynn Ranch A Huge Success

Hurricane Mills, TN (October 2, 2013) It was a first at the Loretta Lynn Ranch. There has been a lot of great Country Music to come from the open air pavilion, but the weekend of September 28 and 29, 2013 was the very first all Gospel program presented at the Ranch. Promoter and Director of the event, Jeff Sneed (The Sneed Family), worked tirelessly and successfully to present two flawless days of Gospel Music. The event was a complete sell out with many bringing their own chair and sitting on the lawn when the reserved seats sold out.
They came from all across the country and from every denomination to enjoy the best Gospel Music ever heard. With such headliner artists as Karen Peck and New River, Brian Free and Assurance, The Hoppers and The Freemans on Saturday, and headliners The Isaacs and Gold City Quartet on Sunday afternoon this event could not help but be extremely successful. When you add to that Loretta Lynn herself making an appearance not a sole in the audience left disappointed.
Host group, The Sneed Family, brought the crowd to their feet with their spirited singing. Jeff Sneed, who was the Promoter and Director of the event stated “The Loretta Lynn Gospel Music Festival had to be one of the most memorable events that I have ever been a part of. The fellowship and love that was felt took me back to the days of an "All Day Sing and Dinner on the Ground" when God and Family were first in peoples life. And I must say, there were no disappointments in meeting this sweet legend in Country Music. Not only was it exciting to hear her perform her hits but having the privilege to escort this Legend to the stage and stand and sing with her will forever be a precious memory in my mind. Looking forward to the Festival Next year and we will be releasing details in a few weeks.”
The word around the backstage of the concert was that this event was one of the most organized and best managed of any the artists have participated in. When you add to all the performers the fact that the event was emceed by Mark Lowry, who also performed and kept the audience laughing. A very special treat for the attendees was when Buck Rambo joined his family, Rambo/McGuire, onstage to sing a few old Dottie Rambo classics.
As soon as the dates are set in stone and the line-up of artists are selected the news will be blasted to you.

About The Sneed Family
The Sneed Family began its gospel music journey in 1982 as “Glory Bound” with four young men just out of High School. The group was founded by 18-year-old pianist and baritone, Jeff Sneed. Jeff met and married Pam Saylors who not only became his wife, but his singing partner. Today they are living our dream by standing on stage with their entire family night after night. Since the groups beginning it has flourished into a current day family ministry team. Today’s group is made up of Jeff Sneed (vocals, piano), Pam Sneed (vocals), Amanda Cowan (vocals, mandolin), Caleb Cowan (vocals), Seth Sneed (vocals, rhythm & bass guitar), and Jacob Sneed (drums). In early 2008 The Sneed Family launched a brand new Christian Television Show called “Glory Bound Jubilee” on WPBM Proclaim Broadcasting.

Country Legend Welcomes Gospel Greats to Hurricane Mills, TN
Nashville, TN – The hills will ring with the glorious sounds of Gospel music as Loretta Lynn welcomes fans to the inaugural “Loretta Lynn’s Gospel Music Festival” to be held at her Hurricane Mills, TN ranch September 28-29, 2013.

The Country music icon has a well-documented love of Gospel music and has consistently shared music of faith in her concerts and recordings. Now, for the first time, she welcomes the music to her home as the top acts in Gospel music plan to perform during the two-day inspirational event.

“Its kind of like an old-time “all-day singing and dinner on the ground,” says Ms. Lynn. “I got to thinking. I have a big ranch where I live so I decided to throw a good ole Gospel weekend here! I want family and friends to bring a blanket, set up a picnic and then enjoy some of my favorite Gospel music singers! I may even come down and sing a song myself! I hope it will be something we can keep going every year. I already have a big campground and cabins where people can stay. We also have a big stage - we have concerts all summer and have done so since 1974.”

Scheduled to appear during the two-day event are Mark Lowry, The Hoppers, The Isaacs, Karen Peck & New River, Gold City, Rambo-McGuire, The Singing Cookes, The Freemans, Brian Free & Assurance, Michael Combs, Archie Watkins & Smoky Mountain Reunion, and The Sneed Family.

For those arriving early on Friday night, September 27, 2013, there will be a special bon-fire and sing-a-long beginning at 8:00 PM.

"I should have started this years ago," comments Lynn. "But, it's never too late - I am inviting everyone to my ranch to have a great ole Gospel time! It'll be a fun time for the whole family. Speaking of family, I want to thank Jeff Sneed and The Sneed Family for helping me plan and promote this Gospel Music Festival. We sure are looking forward to this special time!"
