Frost writes score for new Biblical production set to open this March

Frost writes score for new Biblical production set to open this March; Trio to be featured in nightly concert

PIGEON FORGE, TN — The Michael Frost Trio will be featured in a nightly concert at the new Biblical Times Dinner Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN. Each member will also be featured in a new Biblical production, set to debut March 29.

The trio includes singer / songwriter Michael Jason Frost, his wife Jen Frost, and tenor vocalist Adam Elrod. The trio made their debut in September at the National Quartet Convention, where they were invited to sing on the main stage following a showcase performance. The trio just wrapped up a winter concert tour, visiting over a dozen churches from Illinois to Florida.

At the new dinner theater, the trio will be part of a concert presentation during the dinner hour, along with vocalists Donny Richmond, Maria Albani-Cook, and Paula Michelle. Following the concert, each member will be a featured character in a new Biblical production titled “Kings of Psalms,” presented with holographic technology exclusive to the area. Michael Frost has written 10 original songs for the show.

Frost said audiences should expect an experience completely unique to the area. With theater-style seating and special patented trays, the first hour features a 7-item feast along with the concert. The second hour is the main focus of the evening, with “Kings of Psalms” presented directly from the pages of the Bible. The character of Samuel will be a narrator who will tell the story of how God worked through him to help bring forth three kings – Saul, David, and ultimately Jesus, with music inspired by the writings in Psalms.

The show is directed by Allan Miller, who spent several years as band leader for Shoji Tabuchi in Branson, MO, and also worked with Pastor Gary McSpadden. The new dinner theater, which opened with a Christmas production last November, is the vision of owners Jess and Linda Davis.

The theater opens March 29 with shows planned Monday – Saturday at 6 p.m. Reservations are recommended by calling (888) 908-3327. The theater is located at 2391 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863. More information is online at www.biblicaltimestheater.com.

Michael Frost is best known in the southern gospel industry for his songwriting credits, including “That’s God,” “Author and Finisher,” and “Three Words, Three Nails, Three Days.” Michael’s songs can be found on the latest projects by The McKameys, Ivan Parker, Dixie Melody Boys and more.

In addition to performing at the theater, Michael, Jen and Adam will continue their music ministry as “The Michael Frost Trio” in churches and concert events. The trio plans to release a new CD this fall, in addition to a Christmas project of all-original songs.

More information about The Michael Frost Trio is online at www.themichaelfrosttrio.com

ANNIE MOSES BAND ANNOUNCES WORLD PREMIERE VIDEO FOR “BLUSH,” NOVEMBER 18th ON GREAT AMERICAN COUNTRY TELEVISION (GAC)

Critically Acclaimed Band Launches Online Pledge to Encourage “Blush Beliefs”

Los Angeles, Calif. (Nov. 13, 2012) – On November 18th, Billboard charting Annie Moses Band will debut the music video for their first radio single “Blush” on Great American Country television (GAC).
Great American Country is the leader in country music entertainment, and delivers to viewers the widest variety of country music, its artists and the lifestyles they influence. To coincide with the music video debut, Annie Moses Band has launched a pledge titled “Blush Beliefs,” where listeners can show their support for the values behind the song. “Blush” was originally released on the band’s album, Pilgrims & Prodigals, which hit stores this past September.

The music video was directed by award-winning filmmaker, David Kiern, inside of Tennessee’s glamorous Rippavilla Plantation. Though Rippavilla is a historic mansion infamous for its ghosts, the band saw it as a perfect backdrop for the radio single which marries a nostalgic message to a modern edge.

“Blush” is a song that aims to question our culture’s cynicism and to speak a timeless truth with powerful relevance. The band recognizes that almost everyone in our society has been hurt by broken relationships, and that individuals turn to cynicism rather than a belief in values that create and nurture loving and long-lasting relationships. The song’s message communicates the group’s desire to return to a time when a wounded heart was not an inevitable experience.

“I hope ‘Blush’ reminds people of a time when faithfulness and kindness, dignity and innocence were not the stuff of fairytales, but the values that bring love to everyday life,” says Annie Wolaver, lead vocalist and violinist of the band.

To launch its “Blush Beliefs” campaign, Annie Moses Band is calling likeminded “Blush” listeners to act through www.blushbeliefs.com. On the site, visitors will find the music video and a corresponding pledge. From there, viewers can log in through Facebook and align with the campaign which promotes messages of truth, faithfulness, kindness and more.

Pilgrims & Prodigals is a two-disc CD/DVD package that is a collection of songs that explore the timeless theme of roaming and redemption. The album is centered on the idea that everyone in the world is going somewhere and features 13 diverse tracks, eight of which were written or co-written by members of the group. When sampling the project listeners can expect to find a blend of classical, jazz, folk, and Celtic stylings.

For more information on Annie Moses Band and “Blush” please visit: http://www.anniemosesband.com/. To view the music video and align with the “Blush Beliefs” campaign, please go to www.blushbeliefs.com.

We capped off the weekend at First Baptist Church of Atlanta on Sunday morning.

We continue to be blessed by Dr. Stanley's ministry, and his friendship. He has been a very special friend and encourager to us, for as long as we've been traveling.
