Critically Acclaimed Band Launches Online Pledge to Encourage “Blush Beliefs”
Los Angeles, Calif. (Nov. 13, 2012) – On November 18th, Billboard charting Annie Moses Band will debut the music video for their first radio single “Blush” on Great American Country television (GAC).
Great American Country is the leader in country music entertainment, and delivers to viewers the widest variety of country music, its artists and the lifestyles they influence. To coincide with the music video debut, Annie Moses Band has launched a pledge titled “Blush Beliefs,” where listeners can show their support for the values behind the song. “Blush” was originally released on the band’s album, Pilgrims & Prodigals, which hit stores this past September.
The music video was directed by award-winning filmmaker, David Kiern, inside of Tennessee’s glamorous Rippavilla Plantation. Though Rippavilla is a historic mansion infamous for its ghosts, the band saw it as a perfect backdrop for the radio single which marries a nostalgic message to a modern edge.
“Blush” is a song that aims to question our culture’s cynicism and to speak a timeless truth with powerful relevance. The band recognizes that almost everyone in our society has been hurt by broken relationships, and that individuals turn to cynicism rather than a belief in values that create and nurture loving and long-lasting relationships. The song’s message communicates the group’s desire to return to a time when a wounded heart was not an inevitable experience.
“I hope ‘Blush’ reminds people of a time when faithfulness and kindness, dignity and innocence were not the stuff of fairytales, but the values that bring love to everyday life,” says Annie Wolaver, lead vocalist and violinist of the band.
To launch its “Blush Beliefs” campaign, Annie Moses Band is calling likeminded “Blush” listeners to act through www.blushbeliefs.com. On the site, visitors will find the music video and a corresponding pledge. From there, viewers can log in through Facebook and align with the campaign which promotes messages of truth, faithfulness, kindness and more.
Pilgrims & Prodigals is a two-disc CD/DVD package that is a collection of songs that explore the timeless theme of roaming and redemption. The album is centered on the idea that everyone in the world is going somewhere and features 13 diverse tracks, eight of which were written or co-written by members of the group. When sampling the project listeners can expect to find a blend of classical, jazz, folk, and Celtic stylings.

New Music From Mark Bishop August 21
For the past decade, Mark Bishop has traveled as a soloist and we’ve benefited from the time he’s spent getting to his engagements. If you were to ask Mark where he does a lot of his songwriting, the answer might come back “Interstate 40” or some other highway or backroad.
Matter-of-fact, we did ask Mark about it. He said, “Yes, I have two writing places. Foremost, eighty percent of my songs come to me while driving, since I do so much of it. The other twenty percent is on my front porch swing here at home. I’m not much for writing in a cubicle or an office!”
As an artist, Mark is a unique Gospel music treasure, but even more so because of the many wonderful songs he’s written. We’re all beneficiaries of the blessings they bring.
A Mark Bishop song will always include spiritual depth and biblical accuracy, but occasionally he alludes to the yet-to-be-revealed joys of the sweet by and by, like he does on this album with “An Old Stone The Lord Rolled Away” and “They Can’t Receive Their Reward.” Mark also tackled the topic in previous outings in the songs “I Got Here As Fast As I Could” and “Blue Skies.”
It’s very likely Mark Bishop pulled over to write many of these outstanding new songs, and we believe you’ll be compelled to “pull over” and listen. Mark Bishop writes songs filled with heart. God’s heart.
I Can Rejoice will be available at Crossroads, iTunes, Amazon and in stores everywhere August 14, 2012.
SHERRY DAMRON RELEASES WRITING COLLABORATION WITH LEGENDARY LORETTA LYNN.
Sherry Damron of Vadalia, GA has just released “You Ain’t Devil Enough” on iTunes. The song is a rewrite of Loretta Lynn’s “You Ain’t Woman Enough”.
Sherry says: “I have always loved Loretta Lynn & grew up hearing her music. I was sitting at the piano one day and began to play “You Ain’t Devil Enough To Change God’s Plans”. I wrote the chorus in about five minutes and within 30 minutes I had re-written the whole song.
I purchased the original soundtrack & sang the song at a Conference & the response was overwhelming. I wanted to record it but knew I needed permission so I sent a very rough copy to Ms. Lynn’s office and within a few weeks I received a call saying that Ms. Lynn liked the song. I was given a single song agreement by Ms. Lynn and Sure Fire Recording with her blessing to record the song.
"It is proof that in fact, the devil cannot change the plan & purpose of God on anyone’s life, if that individual will give their life, messed up and all, into God’s capable & strong hands. Our God’s thoughts toward us are that of good and to bring us to an expected future. I hope everyone will enjoy the song and that it will minister to many!”
Sherry, her husband and their son are preaching the gospel in churches and arenas nationwide as well as abroad. They have a TV program “I STILL BELIEVE” which is airing four times weekly. Dwayne and Sherry pastor “The Sanctuary” in Vidalia, Georgia and have also established an extension of the ministry in Pakistan.
“You Ain’t Devil Enough” will be released to gospel radio during the month of August.

Guy Penrod Releases New Single to Radio

"Male Vocalist of the Year" Nomination in ICM Awards Ceremonies Cap Fall 2011
Nashville, Tennessee (September 14, 2011) - Guy Penrod strikes a strong vocal note of encouragement to the everyday American worker in his powerful new single "More Power To Ya" being delivered to country radio this week via Play MPE and CDX Vol. #531. The third single from his much acclaimed BREATHE DEEP CD release, Penrod's choice of the Jon Mabe/Jason Matthews written "More Power To Ya" continues to engage country listeners with a 'faith & family' values message that delves deep into the heart of the nation's 'can do' spirit. "I chose the song because of its down-to-earth grit when it comes to making it through life," notes Guy. "Life often deals us what seems at times to be an unfair hand. But the message in this great song is that the things that truly matter to us, our families-wives, kids, parents, friends--in short the people we love--are what's most important. We still get up and get out there and fight to provide for those we love. Things are especially challenging for the American work force at this time, but the numbers still reflect that we, as a people, are going to do what it takes to care for those we love and that grit deserves our applause and encouragement....to which I say, more power to ya!" With the unveiling of his new single and fall 2011 concert schedule, Guy Penrod remains one of the most "audience connective" live performers in the music industry. For country fans, his 2010 debut solo tour in support of BREATHE DEEP put a fresh face" on the unmistakable voice that help propel The Gaither Vocal Band to multi-Grammy wins and multi-million unit record sales. He has to date performed before audiences of more than six million concert-goers in the U.S. alone. The release of BREATHE DEEP set Penrod on course to be a centerpiece artist at the CMA Music Festival, tour Europe to introduce the new music, and embark on an ambitious country radio promotional tour that boosted his emerging strength in the genre to six figure sales in 2010. Guy will cap October with an October 28th appearance/performance at the ICM Faith, Family & Country Awards presentation being held in Nashville at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. He is nominated in the Male Vocalist of the Year category set to be presented that night. For additional information on concert dates listed please resource: www.guypenrod.com.

For Skaggs, who has previously won several ICM Awards, this year's nominations are particularly sweet. "I'm very grateful to the ICM for all the nominations," says Skaggs. "When I started playin' and singin', they didn't have award shows like they do now, so I've never been driven to win them. I just love the music and I love the fact that God uses music to speak to people's hearts. That's what I'm in it for, to be a messenger of His Love." The 17th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards will be held on Friday, October 28 at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Ricky has been honored with the following ICM Awards: Musician of the Year, Christian Country Music Association - 1994, 1995, Musician of the Year - 2008, Inspirational Bluegrass Artist (with The Whites) - 2008, Mainstream Country Artist (with The Whites) - 2008, Mainstream Country Artist - 2009 and Inspirational Bluegrass Artist - 2010. He released COUNTRY HITS BLUEGRASS STYLE in July, and the 14-song disc is a mix of Skaggs' Country and Bluegrass roots; a compilation of numerous Skaggs' #1 Country hits and fan favorites, played in a Bluegrass style. Ricky's been sharing his music with fans around the country during his current Treasure Chest Tour. The tour continues with shows in Copper Mountain, CO (Villages at Copper Mountain), Stephenville, TX (Birdsong Amphitheater), Bloomington, IL (Bloomington Performing Arts Center) and Hiawassee, GA (Georgia Mountain Fall Festival) in addition to a host of bluegrass dates. In August, Skaggs Family Records announced the issue of another 2011 CD: A SKAGGS FAMILY CHRISTMAS VOLUME TWO. The 10-song disc hits stores nationwide on September 27, and features both studio and live recordings. A bonus DVD filled with 26 performances of traditional seasonal favorites and new compositions that are sure to become holiday treasures is included with the CD. Skaggs and The Whites have taken their live holiday show on the road for the last eight years, entertaining crowds in venues ranging from churches to symphony halls, to the National Tree Lighting Ceremony in Washington D.C., where they sang for President George W. Bush. They continue the tradition this year with bookings at a variety of outlets throughout the holiday season.
