The Bowling Family Hit #1 With "I Know Enough”
Nashville, TN (Octobrer 22, 2014) The Bowling Family charts the number one song in the top two charts for Southern Gospel Music. The Bowling Family has had 23 number one songs in their stellar career but this is the first since their bus accident 4 years ago on July 1st of 2010.
The song ‘I Know Enough’ is the current single from their "Safe After The Storm” project. It was written by Marcia Henry, Belinda Smith and features the beautiful voice of Kelly Bowling.
This is just another achievement by a group that has garnered numerous nominations and awards in their time together as a group. These include 3 GRAMMY® nominations, 19 Dove Award nominations, 11 Dove Awards including multiple "Song Of The Year" Dove wins for Country, Southern, and Traditional, Absolutely Gospel News Award for Male Vocalist and Female Vocalist and 18 Absolutely Gospel News Awards .
Kelly Bowling stated "In the fall of 2010 Marcia Henry and Belinda Smith were in Nashville collaborating on a song. These ladies, collectively have written nearly a dozen number one songs, so this may have been a "business as usual" kind of songwriting session. But, it wasn't. Little did they realize, when they started humming a melody, putting a lyric on paper, that this song was mine. They had no clue that I was a few miles from them....sitting in a wheelchair, waiting for a doctor to "GIVE it to me straight" about my ability to take care of myself, my kids, and way on down the line of importance, would I ever be well enough to stand on a stage, travel on a bus, live my life....as I had known life. For you see, this song was written just weeks after our bus hit that semi. It was written for me to sing in this season of my life. For truly, I may not know much, "BUT I KNOW ENOUGH!"
Continuing Kelly commented "I have been privileged to be a part of some great songs in my life, but this one speaks everything I have to say, and would say, if I had a summary of my journal from the last half of 2010. MY personal thanks to Marcia and Belinda for being who they are, and doing what they do. Without a song, we would have nothing to offer."
The Bowlings are regulars on the Grand Ole Opry, performed multiple times on Gaither video series. They were featured on the Gaither video tribute to the Crabb Family (playing on television networks, 2009, 2010.)
Mike, Kelly, Hope Bowling and Troy Peach (collectively) have sold more than 1.2 million recordings.

“Journey of Hope” was molded by the group’s long-time producer, Roger Talley.
“Journey of Hope" is a collection of songs that resound the constant truth of the hope we have when concluding our journey of life,” says Tribute manager and lead singer Gary Casto. “We are very thankful to Daywind Records and our producer, Roger Talley, for shaping this recording into the theme we so unashamedly sing about.”
“Journey of Hope” is an 11-song project that includes an award-winning cast of songwriters such as Kenna West, Lee Black, Michael Farren, Marcia Henry, Sue C. The group – which joined the Daywind family earlier this year – has produced top-charting hits such as “Homecoming Day,” “Homesick Angel” and “Good News From Jerusalem,” a No. 1 song.
“Tribute has been on a steady rise toward the top of the Southern Gospel Music industry since its inception, and this recording will propel the group’s climb,’” explains Daywind president Ed Leonard. “With hit after hit already under its belt, we believe that the group has more chart-toppers to come on ‘Journey of Hope.’ Tribute Quartet delivers these songs with a sincerity and an energy that allows the wonderful messages in these great songs to come alive. We can’t wait to hear the reactions from the fans to what we believe is the group’s best effort yet.”

The Bowling Family Signs With Daywind Records
Hendersonville, TN (July 30, 2014) Daywind Records is pleased to announce the addition of the Bowling Family to its award-winning roster of artists.
The Bowling Family is a mixed group that consists of Mike and Kelly Bowling, their 14-year-old daughter Hope, vocalist Troy Peach and pianist John Jeffrey.
“Kelly and I are really thrilled to be a part of the Daywind family once again,” says group manager and lead singer Mike Bowling. “I don't believe any record company has ever had more of an impact on Southern Gospel Music. We are truly excited to be part of this team, and we have such love and respect for all of Daywind’s artists. We can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
Mike Bowling previously sang with the Lefevres, Hinsons and Perrys before embarking on an award-winning solo career, while Kelly Bowling helped her ever-popular family, the Crabb Family, win three GRAMMY Awards and 11 Dove Awards during its period of existence. Kelly Bowling joined the group in 2006. Since that time, the group has produced four No. 1 songs – “We Have a Savior,” “Your Cries Have Awoken the Master,” “A Miracle Today” and “Notified.”
“The Bowling Family is no stranger to the fans of Southern Gospel Music, and we are thrilled to have them as part of our family here at Daywind,” explains Daywind president Ed Leonard. “For a number of years, fans have shown their love for Mike’s distinctive voice, and Kelly was part of a family that helped broaden horizons in this genre. The group has burst on to the scene, and we are looking forward to seeing all of the doors that will undoubtedly open as the excitement continues to grow

About The Bowlings
The group consists of Mike Bowling and his wife, Kelly, their daughter Hope and longtime friend Troy Peach. They bring you their stories and songs in a way that is reminiscent of days gone by. To watch them perform reminds us of a time when "all night singings" were the norm, and folks lined up early to visit with the singers and musicians. As in most things, musical styles come full circle. What is old is new, and what is new is old!! Musically, Mike, Kelly, Hope and Troy make us realize this. Somehow they have created a sound that is as refreshing as the sounds of the early 70s. Mike has often been referred to as the vocal stylist of the day; however, the completion is so obvious with Kelly, Hope and Troy by his side. History will note that they have been true to the excellence of their ability without diminishing or distancing the listener.
Daywind Records is home to an award-winning roster of artists, including Brian Free and Assurance, Greater Vision, Karen Peck and New River, Legacy Five and the Nelons. Daywind is distributed to retail through New Day Christian Distributors, Select-O-Hits, and all major digital outlets, including iTunes.
