Popular singer, songwriter, author and radio host, Janet Paschal was recently named Soloist of the Year when the 2009 SGN Scoops’ Diamond Award winners were announced on July 16. The Award comes on the heels of Paschal’s first Number One song. Paschal’s popular radio hit, “Hide Me Sweet Rock Of Ages,” sits at the Number One position according to The Singing News Magazine’s Southern Gospel Top 80 Chart for the month of August.
Winners of the Diamond Awards were announced during a ceremony held at the inaugural Branson Music Convention last week in Branson, MO. Winners are selected by fans and industry members who cast votes online at www.diamondawardsonline.com.
