CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Popular Southern Gospel group Driven Quartet has just renewed their contract with Southern Spin Entertainment. The quartet has signed on for another year of exclusive publicity from Southern Spin Entertainment. Driven Quartet will continue to have access to all media publications serviced by Southern Spin Entertainment, as well as marketing possibilities with the organization.
“We’ve been more than pleased with the work that SSE has done for our group this past year,” mentioned Jason Funderburk of Driven Quartet. “We’ve got some exciting things in store for 2010, and we know that SSE is the right company to stay in partnership with!”
Amy Marie Unthank of SSE Group, Inc. said, “Driven Quartet is one of the most solid group’s on the road today. These guys have got a fantastic sound, but more importantly love to minister to people. That’s the kind of artist we look forward to working with!”
Driven Quartet has had a great year this year – which included a Breakthrough Artist of the Year nomination in the 2009 SGN Music Awards and appearances at some of the biggest and brightest events in Southern Gospel music.
Driven Quartet recently released their latest mainline recording. The new project, simply titled Driven Quartet, released earlier this summer and is available to purchase on the group’s website or at ministry and concert events.
The debut single from the album, “Between a Rock & a Hard Place,” was written by John Darin Rowsey and Justin Rivers and has done exceptionally well for the group. The song reached Top 20 on both the Gospel Music News Top 100 (#14) and SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart (#12) and Top 40 on the Singing News Top 80 (#27). The song has also been a regular fixture on the GospelMusicTimes.com Top 100 Fan Chart.
