The Rene Caisse Theatre in Bracebridge Muskoka will premiere a new Canadian rock musical in the spring of 2010. I personally know the woman who wrote the script, lyrics and music. In fact I was the female lead in the acclaimed workshop production! One of the songs you love so much on my CD and in my concerts is from Act Two of PILGRIM. "Just One Angel"
There is this amazing opportunity for rock musical PILGRIM by Muskoka playwright Suzanne Holmes Rutherford to receive a $250,000 grant from gigantic international insurance company AVIVA [huge in Canada]. PILGRIM is an AVIVA project to 'stimulate culture' - it's legit!
