Frosts join Biblical Times Theater, write songs for new Christmas production

PIGEON FORGE, TN — Singer / songwriter Michael Jason Frost, along with his wife Jen, have joined a new Christian-based theater in Pigeon Forge, TN, Biblical Times Dinner Theater.

In addition to performing in the new production, The Frosts have written much of the feature presentation, which focuses on the Biblical Christmas story. Michael wrote several songs for the show while Jen wrote part of the script. The new venture is the vision of Jess and Linda Davis, who own the theater located at traffic light 2 on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge.

Frost said audiences should expect an experience completely unique to the area. With theater-style seating and special patented trays, the first hour features a 7-item “feast of Biblical proportions,” with smoked turkey, grilled pork, grilled chicken, beans and potatoes, and more. The cast provides pre-show entertainment during the dinner hour. The second hour is the main focus of the evening, with “The True Christmas Story” presented directly from the pages of the Bible, with original music and state of the art holographic technology never-before seen in the area. The show is directed by Allan Miller and brings together a cast of seven with very diverse musical backgrounds, but all with the common goal of spreading God’s Word.

The theater is now open and offers dinner and shows nightly, Monday-Saturday, 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Reservations are recommended by calling (888) 908-3327. The theater is located at 2391 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863. More information is online at www.biblicaltimestheater.com.

Frost said after the Christmas season, the plan is to bring another all-new Biblically-based production that will make its debut in the Spring of 2013.
Michael and Jen Frost first met while working in Christian theater a few years ago. “Jen and I are overjoyed to have the opportunity to work together once again in Christian theater,” Michael said.

Michael is best known in the southern gospel world for his songwriting credits, including “That’s God,” “Author and Finisher,” and “Three Words, Three Nails, Three Days.” Michael’s songs can be found on the latest projects by The McKameys, Ivan Parker, HisSong, and more.

Michael and Jen also maintain “The Michael Frost Trio.” The trio recently made an impact at the National Quartet Convention (NQC) this year after being invited to perform their new radio release, “Author and Finisher,” on the main stage.
In addition to performing at the theater, Michael and Jen will continue their music ministry in churches and concert settings, presenting their blend of original songs and personal testimonies. The Frosts are represented by The Adoration Agency (www.adorationagency.com)

The Frosts have a daughter, Jael Esther, age 2.
