Mickey Bell Returns To Radio

Bellingham, WA – Rob Patz of Coastal Media Group and SGNScoops Magazine, is happy to announce the return of Mickey Bell to the airwaves. SGN Scoops Presents This Week in Gospel Music with Mickey Bell will bring Gospel and Christian Country music across the nation with the unique, charismatic flavor that Mickey Bell is known for.

Hyssongs Celebrate First Top 20 Song

(Sharps Chapel, TN – August 4, 2014) The Hyssongs, who are Chapel Valley music artists, have had an exciting few years. In 2013 and 2014 they have been honored by being nominated for Top 5 New Trio by Singing News fans. This popular family group consists of Dell, Susan, and their son, Richard.

Their last four songs have charted in the Top 40 in the Singing News, including their release entitled “Thinking About Going Home”, which is currently #14 on the Singing News chart and #1 on the SGN Scoops Top 100 chart!

“Radio has really embraced our family and we are thrilled that our music is making a difference in people’s lives”, states Richard.

Recently, Chapel Valley Music presented The Hyssongs with a special plaque celebrating their first Top 20 song. “Our company is very proud of The Hyssongs success. We believe that the sky is the limit for this family”, quotes Shane Roark, Chapel Valley’s Co-Owner and Producer (pictured center left).

The family has just released a new song, written by Rodney Griffin, “I Was Blind, But Now I See”. The song came in at #8 on the Singing News Top New Releases for September.

They are looking forward to their first main stage appearance at the National Quartet Convention on Thursday night.

SGNScoops February Issues Hosts The Nelons On Cover


We are excited to present February’s edition of SGNScoops Magazine.

On the cover this month is a name we’ve all grown to love over the years, “The Nelons!” We’re sure you’ll be blessed as the Nelons share about their legacy, family and ministry.

DIAMOND AWARDS TO BE AIRED JANUARY 26, 2013 ON WATC

Awards Celebration Includes Appearances By Gerald and Jason Crabb, Sheri Easter And Others

Atlanta, GA.(January 21, 2013) – WATC Television out of Atlanta, Georgia, will be airing the SGNScoops’ 2012 Diamond Awards Celebration held at Creekside Gospel Music Convention on October 30, 2012. Coastal Media Group hosted the event to honor Gospel music’s finest artists as chosen by the readers of SGNScoops digital magazine. The gala event was emceed by Christy Sutherland and Daniel Ball and included performances by Sheri Easter, Gerald Crabb, Jason Crabb, Crosby Lane and Watts, Rowsey and Bean, among others. Many of these special moments will be shown on this TV Special to be aired Saturday, January 26th at 1:00pm EST.

Patricia Mathis and her crew of WATC TV, Atlanta’s TV 57, recorded the 2012 Diamond Awards. Mathis is excited about airing the TV Special and said, "You will not want to miss this wonderful program featuring great gospel music artists, presenters, award winners and interviews of the artists by Bill Dykes. Publisher, Rob Patz and Editor in Chief, Rhonda Frye of SGNScoops Magazine covered the 43rd Annual Dove Awards at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. “The pre-show and the awards show was amazing and I couldn’t be more pleased with the way our industry was represented,” says Rob Patz. “I thought it was awesome to see different genres come together with the same message lifting of the name of Christ,” Rhonda adds.
