WATC To Cover 2014 Creekside Gospel Music Convention And Diamond Awards




Pigeon Forge, TN.(September 19, 2014) – WATC Television out of Atlanta, Georgia, has announced they will be 
covering the SGNScoops’ 2014 Creekside Gospel Music Convention and  Diamond Awards Celebration at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on November 3rd and 4th. The television station, which also streams their programs on the web, will be at the Smokey Mountain Convention Center to record the Mondaynight presentation, “Lou Hildreth Honors Willie Wynn” as well as Tuesday night’s Diamond Award celebration, the event to honor Gospel music’s finest artists as chosen by the readers of SGNScoops digital magazine. Many of these special moments will be shown on a TV Special and viewed online at www.watc.tv at a later date to be announced.

Coastal Media Group is hosting the Creekside Gospel Music Convention, which takes place from the 3rd through the 6th. As well the special events mentioned above, the Convention includes daily Chapel services, specialty showcases and evening concerts.

Patricia Mathis, Vice President of WATC TV, Atlanta’s TV 57, is looking forward to returning to Pigeon Forge. “It's exciting to once again be a part of the Creekside Gospel Music Convention and for being able to share this with the viewers of WATC TV in Atlanta,” says Mathis. “While it is nothing like being in the audience at Creekside, we are glad that we can bring a little part of Creekside and the great gospel music being performed there to our audience. Creekside just keeps getting bigger and better ever year!”

DIAMOND AWARDS TO BE AIRED JANUARY 26, 2013 ON WATC

Awards Celebration Includes Appearances By Gerald and Jason Crabb, Sheri Easter And Others

Atlanta, GA.(January 21, 2013) – WATC Television out of Atlanta, Georgia, will be airing the SGNScoops’ 2012 Diamond Awards Celebration held at Creekside Gospel Music Convention on October 30, 2012. Coastal Media Group hosted the event to honor Gospel music’s finest artists as chosen by the readers of SGNScoops digital magazine. The gala event was emceed by Christy Sutherland and Daniel Ball and included performances by Sheri Easter, Gerald Crabb, Jason Crabb, Crosby Lane and Watts, Rowsey and Bean, among others. Many of these special moments will be shown on this TV Special to be aired Saturday, January 26th at 1:00pm EST.

Patricia Mathis and her crew of WATC TV, Atlanta’s TV 57, recorded the 2012 Diamond Awards. LOU HILDRETH 75TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION TO BE AIRED DECEMBER 29, 2012 ON WATC TV

Atlanta, GA.(December 27, 2012) – WATC Television out of Atlanta, Georgia, will be airing the Lou Hildreth 75th Anniversary Celebration held at Creekside Gospel Music Convention on October 30, 2012. The event was hosted by Coastal Media Group and SGNScoops to honor Lou Wills Hildreth, a Gospel Music legend who was delighted by tributes from artists such as Phil Cross, Ann Downing, The Blackwoods, Clayton Inman, Jeff Stice, David Sutton, The Southmen and many more, as well as video clips from Larry Gatlin, Larry Ford and Bill Gaither. Many of these special moments are shown on TV Special to be aired December 29, 2012 at 3:00pm on the WATC TV station as well as on their internet site.

WATC TV IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA TO BROADCAST HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE CREEKSIDE GOSPEL MUSIC CONVENTION IN DECEMBER


WATC TV 57 in Atlanta, Georgia has announced that the station will be videotaping
during the upcoming Creekside Gospel Music Convention in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
for an upcoming special to be aired in December 2012. Highlights of the convention
including Lou Hildreth’s 75 Years in Gospel Music Celebration on October 29 and the
Diamond Awards on October 30 will be included in the broadcast.

“We appreciate Rob Patz of SGNScoops and the Creekside Gospel Music
Convention for allowing WATC to be a part,” said Greg West, Program Director of
WATC TV. “We look forward to this being the first year of many more years to come of
bringing this event into the homes of viewers in Atlanta, Georgia and beyond.”


Dates and times of the December broadcast on WATC TV will be announced in
November.
