NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Coastal Media Group and SGN Scoops Digital are happy to announce the addition of Jonathan Edwards to the staff of the 2010 SGN Scoops Diamond Awards. Edwards has been appointed Music Production Director for the awards ceremony.
Edwards is a known professional in the Southern Gospel community. In addition to performing with the Ascension Quartet, Jonathan is also the late afternoon and early evening DJ for Springfield, Missouri’s KWFC-FM – one of Southern Gospel’s most loved and respected radio stations.
Rob Patz, President of Coastal Media Group (owners of SGN Scoops Digital) said, "I'm excited to be able to have someone of Jonathan Edwards’ caliber as our Music Production Director for the Diamond Awards. His vast background, not only in music but audio production, will allow us to put on a first class show."

The 2010 Diamond Awards are set to take place on July 1, 2010 during the Branson Gospel Music Convention. Nominations for the Top 10 ballot are currently being accepted through February 28, 2010.

About the Diamond Awards
The Diamond Awards were transferred over to the SGN Scoops Digital several years ago after the original home for the awards, the Gospel Voice Magazine, folded. The Diamond Awards are a fan-based award that allows the fans to choose the nominees as well as the winners each year. The awards show is held during the Branson Gospel Music Convention every summer.
