Dove Brothers Grip the #1 Spot on the Singing News Top 80!

BLADENBORO, N.C. – (July 15, 2010) – Multi-award winning quartet the Dove Brothers are holding tight to the #1 spot according to the Singing News Magazine Top 80 Chart! The group’s hit single will claim the #1 spot on the upcoming August issue of the popular Southern Gospel magazine.

McCray Dove said, “This song has been a big hit with the people who have come out to our concerts. We are happy to see that radio has felt the same way about the song. We have a lot of fun with it, but the message is still true. Thanks to everyone who played the song!”

“Hold On” was the second single from the Dove Brothers’ critically acclaimed album by the same title. The first single, “A Little Good News,” was a Top 20 hit for the group.

In addition, “Hold On” has reached the #1 spot on the (formerly Top 40 Weekly Chart. The song spent three weeks atop the popular weekly report.

“Hold On” is the popular quartet’s second #1 hit of their career, according to the Singing News Magazine. The group went #1 in 2007 with the fan-favorite single “I Can Pray.” That song was also named the #1 Song of the Year according to the magazine and won Song of the Year in the 2008 SGN Music Awards.

The group just released the debut single from their much-anticipated new release Unshakeable. “If I Knew Then” has an immediate add date. Unshakeable will be available all over the country at Christian retail later this month.
