LARRY GATLIN JOINS VIDDY TO SHARE LIFE MOMENTS WITH FANS

Nashville, Tenn. (January 28, 2013) – “First the earth cooled, then came the dinosaurs, then Twitter and Facebook and now Viddy… I’m in!” says Country music legend LARRY GATLIN upon posting his first VIDDY. Gatlin is the latest country music star to join Viddy, the booming “video-Twitter” smartphone app that allows users to share intimate moments of their day-to-day lives, 15-seconds at a time. Click here to view Gatlin’s Viddy account.

Since recently joining, Gatlin has shared several video moments including a recent visit to Washington DC for the “Black Tie & Boots” Inaugural Ball, a sneak peak of the Gatlin Brothers in-studio teasing a new album, and… a haircut… yes, a haircut.

“Viddy is cool!” notes Gatlin. ”Even Papa Gatlin can do it… stay tuned!”

Viddy is available for free download on iPhone and Android smartphones. Since debuting in 2011, the app has attracted some of the world’s biggest celebrities including Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Usher, Britney Spears, Snoop Dogg and Jessica Alba.

About Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers
The close family harmonies of Larry, Rudy and Steve Gatlin gave the trio a signature sound that led to country classics like “Houston (Means I’m One Day Closer To You).” The brothers won a GRAMMY Award for their 1976 breakthrough hit, “Broken Lady,” and reached #1 with “I Just Wish You Were Someone I Love” two years later. Along with five career nominations for the ACM Vocal Group, the Gatlin Brothers picked up three 1979 trophies – Single of the Year (“All The Gold In California”), Album of the Year (Straight Ahead) and Male Vocalist of the Year for Larry Gatlin, also a talented songwriter who composed all of the group’s singles. To date, the brothers hold 36 Top 40 Hits to their credit.
