Bill Dykes Signs Recording Contract with Pathway Records
{EHA-Nashville, TN}Newly launched, Pathway Records of Franklin, TN has added Bill Dykes to its roster. Dykes has a lengthy, successful history with some of the most notable groups in the Southern Gospel genre, including The Cathedrals, The Goffs, Coy Cook & The Senators, and The Rhythm Masters. He has performed in events led by Jerry Falwell, Pat Robinson, Rex Humbard, Billy Graham, Oral Roberts, and Paul Conn. Recording and performing on four #1 songs, garnering three Dove nominations, a Gospel Music News Award, owning his own group; Chariot, opening for Mike Huckabee, and achieving Gold status with his "This is Love," is only a brief overview of his 45 years of dedication, contributions, and accolades that will be stamped in the pages of Gospel Music history.
Dykes's passion for his music led him into marketing, media, and financial consulting that would not only secure his involvement in the industry, but would change the course of many of his clients' paths to success. His expertise in banking and finance has given him the opportunity to reach out to a multitude of churches and ministries in distress. A position as Chief Marketing Officer for Christian Televison Network, Sky Angel, allowed him to design and implement its sales and marketing initiatives. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President, Business Development at Church Mortgage Acceptance Co., LLC (CMAC) where he played a key role in providing over $2 billion in financing to churches nationwide in need of refinancing, renovation, or expansion. Dykes studied finance at the University of Cincinnati and vocal performance at the Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. He attended seminary at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee, received his Doctorate of Divinity from Heritage Baptist University, and serves on the Board of Trustees at Davis College in Binghamton, NY.
Dykes was brought on board by The Mansion Entertainment in 2010 to spearhead the development of Manor House Music and Cheyenne Record labels. In addition, his expertise as Executive Director has enabled him to revive Impact Records, the first Gospel label to garner Gold status, with the Gaither's "Allelujah: Praise Gathering." Bill Traylor, VP of The Mansion Entertainment, notes, "Bill and I have been friends for well over 30 years. With his heart for the ministry and his willingness to help others reach their music ministry goals, I expect great blessings for his new project with Pathway Records. I feel certain that the unique, flexible, and affordable recording options we have made available to Pathway artists will allow Bill to carry on his solo ministry with the style and class that is his trademark."
Dykes says, "I feel so blessed to be getting a top-knotch project done with Pathway Records. The beauty of this record company is that it offers so many options for artists with its 'Al a carte features, allowing them to pick and choose as little or as much as they would like to put into their project. Those unique features make the recording more feasible for the beginning artist, with a limited budget, yet it can also accommodate the most elaborate needs of any recording artist. My first and foremost carreer mission is to use the experience and tools the Lord gave me to help others fulfill their calling in the ministry; however, I don't think my own calling to sing has ended after 45 years. Having been on all sides of this business, I can relate to just about everything that is presented as a concern. This is the reason I am so excited about recommending artists to Pathway Records; because it is fitting my own needs perfectly.
Dykes continues to travel to speaking and singing engagements across the country and is frequently asked to MC concerts and events. He and wife, Jae Lynne, reside in Cincinnati, OH where they attend Landmark Baptist Church.

The Diamond Awards - Allen Smith Takes a Look Back
In 2007, Allen Smith of the SGN Scoops Magazine talked to Lorraine Walker of SGM Radio about the Diamond Awards, their history, and how they became the prestigious awards program of Southern Gospel Music. We hope you enjoy this look back!
March 2007 SGM Radio Feature: The Diamond Awards
Allen Smith: The Man Behind the Diamond Awards
By Lorraine Walker
Every year during the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, a special event occurs. In the midst of showcases, media interviews and listening parties, attendees and fans alike pause for a moment to give honour to the main influence behind Southern Gospel Music. At the Diamond Award ceremonies the Lord is honoured first, and in the middle of this afternoon of praise, those who are involved in His music are thanked for their dedication to His purpose. For the last few years, the man behind these awards has been Allen Smith.
A Pastor with over 40 years in the ministry, Rev. Allen Smith became involved in Southern Gospel music through concert promotion in the churches where he was ministering. In the mid-90’s he began to DJ in a radio station in DeSoto, Missouri. He and his church started a southern gospel magazine, which grew quickly and became the Southern Gospel News Magazine. A weekly email newsletter followed, SGN Scoops Ezine. Today the publication is known as SGN Scoops Magazine, and the daily email newsletter is SGN Scoops Today. Allen is seen as an industry innovator, a man who is finding ways to continuously promote Southern Gospel music.
Allen Smith recently talked with SGM Radio about his involvement with the prestigious Diamond Awards. “They were started about 16 years ago by the Gospel Voice Magazine”, Allen explains. “As you know, they went out of business a few years ago, and the Diamond Awards lay dormant for about two years. One day about four years ago I realized that I knew the owners of the Gospel Voice… I had been praying for some time about the possibility of our magazine having an awards program. But, I did not want to just start a new awards show that very few people knew about, and that no one would attend. Feeling the direction of the Lord in the matter, I spoke with the owner of Voice Magazine that I knew, and asked if it would be possible for us to take over the Diamond Awards. He told me he would have to talk it over with his partner, and get back to me the next month. He did get back to me, and the rest is history. They just handed the Diamond Awards over to us.”
In an industry that currently has many award ceremonies occurring throughout the year, Allen explains why the Diamonds are special. “The Diamond Awards are unique in many ways. First of all, they were resurrected from the grave, so to speak. Secondly, they are truly fan-based. The fans even select the nominees. Third, we knew that once again that we would be innovative when it came to balloting. You see we do not have a really large subscription base. So, in order to make the balloting realistic and legitimate, we made the decision to let every Southern Gospel fan vote if they wanted to. So, in addition to a printed ballot, we also made an electronic ballot available on the internet. We were the first to do this, and it has worked quite well for us.”
Allen explains that safeguards are put in place to prevent people from voting more than once, to retain the integrity of the awards. The Diamond Award ballots can be accessed online and submitted in two different ways. Artists can print off the hardcopy ballots found at www.sgnscoops.com and have them available for fans at their product tables. Fans can also vote online at www.diamondawardsonline.com.
Electronic access to voting is not the latest innovation to the Diamond Awards. Allen explains, “We introduced a category a few years ago called the Favorite Artist/Industry Website Award. This past year, we split it into two different awards. We now have the Favorite Artist Website Award and the Favorite Industry Website Award. It is interesting to note that this past year, the Singing News Fan Awards has also introduced a website award. That is not all, for we introduced a duet award four years ago. The 2007 Singing News Fan Awards will has a duet award for the first time in their history.”
There is always a lot of discussion and rumour among fans and artists about alterations in the long-running Singing News Fan Awards. Allen comments, “Many people in the industry are now talking about the changes that are being made in the Singing News Fan Awards this year. It is being said that they are dropping several of their categories. I want to make this clear, that as far as I know, they have not yet officially announced these changes. But if this information is correct, then The SGN SCOOPS DIAMOND AWARDS will still have the categories, and will still be recognizing those artists that the Fan Awards will no longer be recognizing.”
Through their commitment to recognizing the work accomplished by Southern Gospel artists and industry personnel, the Diamond Awards encompass regional groups as well as those that are nationally known. Regional groups do appear on the nominating ballets, and occasionally receive enough votes to win the award.
“We also have regional groups performing during the Diamond Awards”, says Allen. “This gives them a platform to be seen and heard by not only fans, but also top industry personnel. We receive reports from these regional groups that we spotlight each year. Some have had promoters see them who then have provided many new dates for them. Some have been seen by major record companies and received contracts. Some have been nominated for Singing News Fan Awards, and they have told us that it is because of the exposure they received at The Diamond Awards.”
The Diamond Awards are seen as a true reflection of the fan’s favourites in Southern Gospel. Allen commented on the ratio of fan vs. industry respondents. “ It is very hard to determine. Of course, there are many more fans that vote than those in the industry. However, you would probably be surprised by the industry names that appear on our ballot registrations. There are a lot of industry people who do vote. The Diamond Awards have become very prestigious, and almost everyone wants to be involved in some way or another.”
“As far as how this compares with other awards in Southern Gospel, I am not sure”, Allen continues. “What is being said is that The Diamond Awards are at the very least the second largest and second best award program in the industry. I am very humbled by this, and I want to state for the record that I want to make sure that God gets all the glory for this, if it is correct.”
The ultimate mission of the Diamonds is to lift up the Lord, the Source of the Gospel the music promotes. Allen comments, “We never want to have just an awards program. We want God to feel welcome. In other words, in addition to handing out awards, we also have church. This is our mission, to allow the Holy Ghost to change lives during The Diamond Awards.”
“The vision of The Diamond Awards, is to continue to grow”, states Allen. “This year the room we will be in will be twice the size of former years. That is just part of the vision. We desire to continue to recognize people for the work they do. We desire to provide a platform for regional groups. But most of all, we desire to reach hearts with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is first and foremost. I am a pastor, and I have a pastor’s heart. We want to do all we can to help the industry, but the greatest way we can help the industry is to allow God to be real in all that we do.”
This Pastor with a heart for the lost recognizes the need reach out to others both in the pew and outside of church. Beginning to preach at age 15, with experience on the mission field and in prisons, he has been pastoring his current church for 25 years. Southern Gospel has always been a major part of his life.
“I can remember the first Southern Gospel group I ever heard. It was a regional group, not a national group. I do not remember the name of the group, but I was blessed by the tenor they had. His name was Junior South. I was probably about 13 or 14 years old”, Allen recalls.
“Down through the years, I have been blessed by many groups. Groups like The McKameys, The Bishops, The Kingsmen, Tony Gore & Majesty, The Perrys, and the list actually goes on and on”, Allen explains. “Just a few years ago, I was especially blessed by a song The McKameys sang. It was written by a friend of mine, Barbara Huffman. Barbara is a writer for the Singing News, as well as a songwriter. At this point in time, I cannot even remember the name of the song, but it really blessed me and I knew I had to learn it.”
Allen continues, “I learned it and sang it at our church about three times. The burden I had for that song then lifted. A few days later, I found out that one of the young ladies in our church was going through something in her life that was really hard. When she heard me sing that song, the Spirit of God lifted her up and set her free from what she was going through. I believe that is what Southern Gospel music is all about.”
“Southern Gospel has changed a lot in the last few years,” says Allen. “I believe it has become more industry, and less ministry. I believe this is very sad. Do not get me wrong; I am not opposed to business. In fact, a ministry that is not run as a business will die. But, on the other hand a ministry whose focus becomes business and not ministry, is dead to begin with.”
Allen believes that the industry does not have to keep going in that direction. “As far as a positive change, I believe we need to get back to the roots of Southern Gospel. What are those roots? True Southern Gospel music and words, and allowing the Spirit of God to have His way in the hearts and lives of everyone, fans and industry personnel.”
This gentleman who loves Southern Gospel music and whose innovative direction has lead the Diamond Awards to their current prestigious status, is still a Pastor whose main goal is to reach the lost. This is emphasized when he shares what the Lord has been speaking to him about lately: “Being all I can be for Him. Doing all I can to reach souls for Him.”
“If you look in Southern Gospel News Magazine on page 4 every month, you will find the Plan of Salvation. We call it The Priceless Corner. If you go to our website (www.sgnscoops.com), you will also find The Priceless Corner.” And that gift of salvation, truly priceless, is worth more than any award.

Focus on the Family Teams with TVGuardian to Offer Profanity-Free TV
New device connects to TV sets, mutes all forms of profanity
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., May 25, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Focus on the Family is expanding its efforts to help parents protect their children by teaming up with TVGuardian to provide clean entertainment choices for families. The organizations are working together to make the TVGuardian filter, a device that eliminates objectionable language, available to more families.
TVGuardian is a small unit that, when connected to television sets, automatically mutes all forms of profanity and inappropriate language from broadcast television, cable, satellite and DVDs. TVGuardian was designed to work with programs and movies that would otherwise be enjoyable entertainment options for families if objectionable language were eliminated.
Rich Bennett, vice president of Focus on the Family's Family Strategy Office, sees these resources as vital in the effort to help families with the challenges presented by modern media.
"Parents are continuously bombarded with media messages that are at odds with how they are raising their children," Bennett said. "Many are at a loss as to how to combat this as technology advances and objectionable entertainment content increases. TVGuardian is an essential resource in helping parents create positive, safe entertainment experiences that affirm their family values."
The TVGuardian device, as well as additional safety resources, is available at www.focusonthefamily.com/safety.
Britt Bennett, president of TVGuardian, said his organization's goal is to offer families an alternative, positive entertainment experience.
"We are excited," he said, "to partner with Focus on the Family to assist and support more families."
TVGuardian is the newest part of Focus on the Family's Family Safety Suite, www.focusonthefamily.com/safety, which provides parents with resources and information to help their families.
For more information about TVGuardian, please contact Britt Bennett at britt@TVGuardian.com or 970-883-3535. To schedule an interview, please contact Britt Bennett at Britt@TVGuardian.com or 970-883-3535, or Devon Williams at Devon.Williams@fotf.org or 719-322-5484.

Celebrity Guests to Include Tony Orlando, Yakov, SIX, Buck Trent, Jim Stafford,
Lennon Sisters, Raeanne Presley, Jim Strafuss and Others
Nashville, TN - May 24, 2011 -- "America's Piano Showman," GRAMMY Award-winning pianist Dino Kartsonakis will host a benefit event to raise funds for victims of the recent Missouri floods on Thursday, May 26, at 6:30 pm CST at the Branson Convention Center. The night will feature a silent auction, special celebrity guests, and performances by Dino and other world-class entertainers.
On April 25, Branson, Mo. suffered the most catastrophic natural disaster to date. Among those families was Kartsonakis and his wife Cheryl, who lost a lifetime of musical awards, archives, grand pianos, furniture, clothing, photographs and family heirlooms in 13 feet of water.
The Official Branson Celebrity Flood Benefit is Kartsonakis' contribution to restoring his community. He comments, "Our goal with this event is to give back quality of life to the victims of this terrible tragedy. My hope is to make these victims victorious!"
Additional event sponsors include The Hilton, Branson Bank, and Christian Associates. All proceeds will be distributed by Christian Associates and will be given directly to the victims who have been hit the hardest. A New Day on the Jersey Shore Following the Will Graham Celebration
With Christ's Return a Popular Topic, Graham Encourages the Audience to Be Prepared
OCEAN GROVE, N.J., May 23, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- A new day dawned on the Jersey Shore this weekend as evangelist Will Graham - accompanied by several top musical artists - presented the good news of Jesus Christ to audiences totaling 13,871 over the three-day event, with 860 responding to Graham's invitation to make a decision for Jesus.
Leading up to the Celebration many in the area, and around the world, were talking about one man's claim that Christ would return on Saturday, May 21. In the days before the Celebration, Graham addressed that claim directly, saying, "None of us know for certain when we will breathe our last breath, and we are all a heartbeat away from eternity. Whether you stand before God on May 21st, or whether you stand before Him 50 years from now, is irrelevant in the scope of eternity. The important thing isn't when you stand before God; it's where you stand with God."
And eternity was very much on Graham's mind as he took the stage each evening. "Religion is like a man-made ladder to God. The problem is that it never reaches far enough to get to Him," said Graham. "God loves you so much that He sent Jesus down, because mankind could never make it up to God. Religion will never save you. Church will never save you. Baptism will never save you - only Jesus!"
Graham was joined onstage in the historic Great Auditorium by Grammy-nominated artists Matthew West, the Newsboys and FLAME, as well as up-and-coming band Chasen. KidzFest, a special event for children, featured musical performers God Rocks!
"Will Graham is a man that proclaims the truth with a humble spirit, and it's easy to see that God will use him mightily for decades to come," said Dr. John Taylor, who served as executive chairman for the Celebration. "And for me personally, seeing eight family members come forward at Will's invitation on the first night - that just makes every bit of the hard work well worth it, and more."
Celebration Director Terry Wilken added, "The churches on the Jersey Shore have been faithfully praying for years for revival. Their prayers have broken down barriers denominationally, ethnically and geographically and have enabled them to work together in unity on the Jersey Shore Celebration and beyond. I believe this will be one of many legacies that are a direct result of this Celebration process."
Will Graham's next multi-day Celebration will take place in Nakuru, Kenya in July. For more information on Will Graham, visit www.willgrahamcelebrations.com.

John Hagee Cry From Valley Forge & Behind The Scenes
NASHVILLE, TN – You've see John Hagee on the Glenn Beck Show, on the FOX News Channel, and you know him as a New York Times Bestselling author, as well as the founder and Senior Pastor of the 19,000 member Cornestone Church in San Antonio, TX. Just recently, John Hagee has introduced an entirely different side of himself to the public with his music release A Lifetime Of Music. The single, "Cry From Valley Forge," is currently at radio stations across the country.
The CD features guest appearances by Bill Gaither, The Oak Ridge Boys, as well as his son Matthew Hagee and family group The Hagees.
“These are classic songs of the church with a beautiful message that never grows old. They just get better with the passing of time,” says Hagee. Produced by award winning producers, Michael Sykes and David Huntsinger (who have worked with such notables as The Gaither Vocal Band, The Oak Ridge Boys and Andy Griffith), this album lovingly wraps those songs in the colorful and diverse sounds of Americana music.
John Hagee was born in Goose Creek, Texas where his father pastored a church just down the road in Channel View. Evening would find the Hagee family playing and singing on the front porch while neighbors gathered round to enjoy the sounds. He reminisces, “Music was a large part of our life, the thing we did together the most. I listened to the radio and there were two shows I listened to, Guy Lombardo, and the Jazz orchestra out of Preservation Hall in New Orleans, and I drifted toward the New Orleans side. I’d listen to the licks they did and get my saxophone out and replicate them. When I’d go to church I’d put all those licks in our church songs; mother didn’t mind as long as you stayed in tune and on beat.” Those influences are evident his soulful delivery of, “Just a Closer Walk with Thee,” which features guest vocals by The Oak Ridge Boys and, “When the Saints go Marching In.” Also featured is a stirring rendition of the gospel standard, “Victory in Jesus,” where Hagee is joined by Southern Gospel Patriarch, Bill Gaither.
It’s obvious when listening to this collection that John Hagee is enjoying himself as he expresses his deepest sentiments and profoundly held beliefs. He shares his abiding love for his country and what it means to be a patriot on the rousing single, “Cry from Valley Forge.” The project is rounded out by several other gospel favorites such as, “No One Ever Cared for Me like Jesus,” “When they Ring the Golden Bells,” and “The Meeting in the Air.”
Pastor Hagee has received Honorary Doctorates from Oral Roberts University, Canada Christian College, and Netanya Academic College in Israel. He is the author of 32 major books including four on the New York Times Best Seller’s List. His most current book entitled “Can America Survive” is published by Howard Books, a division of Simon and Schuster. After 52 years of ministry, He still continues the Hagee family musical tradition by singing with his children Matthew, Christina and Sandy.
A Lifetime of Music is available from John Hagee ministries at www.jhm.org or 1-800-854-9899 and on iTunes.

ABOUT SOMEBODY CARES
The "Somebody Cares" concept began in Houston in 1981 when a simple business card reading, "Somebody Cares, call 24 hours a day," was distributed by founder Doug Stringer and others as they ministered to the lost on the streets of Houston. From there, Turning Point Ministries International began with Bible studies, evangelism outreaches, and discipleship ministries. Soon, the ministry was taking mission trips, planting churches, and sending out international ministries. In 1994, Somebody Cares Houston was officially formed as the outreach arm of TPMI. The organization has grown since then to encompass outreach efforts across the nation

Artists Join Together To Benefit The Southeast Tornado & Flood Victims

Somebody Cares for the Southeast Disaster Relief Benefit airs Sunday, May 22nd on FamilyNet
“The true character of a man or woman is made manifest through times of challenge.
Thank you to each of who have proven the substance of your character”
–Doug Stringer, Founder & President of Somebody Cares
Hendersonville, TN (May 19, 2011) – That character was displayed when Christian and Country music artists came together Tuesday afternoon to lend their voices to the Somebody Cares for the Southeast Disaster Relief Benefit Special, hosted by Gary Chapman. The two-hour special, collectively produced by Daywind Records, New Day Distribution, FamilyNet and NorthStar studios, was created to raise funds for Somebody Cares, a Christian organization that works hand in hand with the Red Cross, FEMA, the Salvation Army and others. They currently have teams in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and Virginia assisting with everything from serving meals, removing debris and providing counseling. All of the artists, as well as the behind-the-scenes staff and crew, donated their time and talents to raise money for this organization, and in turn, make a difference to those affected by the deadly tornadoes.
Artists such as Danny Gokey, Michael English, Ray Stevens, Rachael Lampa, Karen Peck & New River, Montell Jordan and many others came out to support this great cause. For some, the reason they chose to participate in this benefit was a personal one. The accapella group, Committed, winner of NBC’s The Sing Off, were displaced from their homes in Huntsville, Alabama in the days following the storms. Lora Poore of the up-and-coming group, Faith 3, witnessed the storm’s devastation first-hand when the only part of the house remaining was the interior closet she and her family were in. These stories, and many more, will be included in the special, as these artists convey to viewers just how many families were personally affected by the storms.
“Today, I had the pleasure of interfacing with some who many would consider celebrity, yet who were willing to become part of something bigger than themselves to bring hope to those who have suffered so much in the recent tornado and flood stricken areas of our nation,” shares Doug Stringer, Founder and President of Somebody Cares America. “Their investment to participate in the Somebody Cares for the Southeast Disaster Relief Special was filled with moments of authentic compassion filled with emotion and, at times, tears. The sacrifice of their time will help to bring attention and awareness to the ongoing needs, even when most of the media shifts to other news stories. It will help to leverage and empower organizations and churches in their communities to continue to be a tangible expression of Christ love.”
The benefit special will initially air on FamilyNet on Sunday, May 22nd at 7:00 pm ET, and will continue to air repeatedly on FamilyNet, American Life Network, and other Christian networks. Check www.familynet.com or www.comstarmedia.com for more information on those airings.
To donate to this cause, simply text the word “icare” to 37284, or log onto www.somebodycares.org. You will be able to donate any amount, and it is all 100 % tax deductable. All of the proceeds go directly to Somebody Cares® to help the victims of this disaster.

QUIET HERO: Secrets of My Father's Past by Rita Cosby Released in Paperback
“Rita’s story is one that will touch every family...
A loving, poignant tribute to her POW father and freedom."
-Senator John McCain
“A beautiful tribute to the strength of the human spirit."
-Dr. Henry Kissinger, Former Secretary of State
The recent operation for Osama Bin Laden shows the strength of the US military and its importance in maintaining freedom and democracy for our country and throughout the world.
RITA COSBY knows this on a very personal level. She also knows about redemption, forgiveness and the value of faith.
As a renowned journalist for more than two decades, she was one of the first to report that Bin Laden was behind the 9/11 attacks, she also did an exclusive interview with then Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf right after 9/11, where after hesitation, he said he would side with America versus the terrorist mastermind. Cosby also traveled to Afghanistan near Bin Laden’s original hide-out in Tora Bora where she spent time with our troops. She was the first journalist to witness an actual interrogation at Guantanamo and see the detainees up close.
Now, in her newly released paperback, QUIET HERO: Secrets From My Father’s Past, she reveals how her own father became a POW who was saved by US troops. Her father’s story is one of sheer courage and patriotism as he battled the Nazis in WWII as a teenage resistance fighter, escaping in the sewers and ultimately weighing only 90 pounds (standing six feet tall) when he was rescued.
QUIET HERO is also a rare glimpse into the deeply personal story of the effects of war on those who fight and their families. Cosby’s father never discussed his visible and invisible scars until now, and as a result, the journey has caused father and daughter to reunite after decades of estrangement.
Rita Cosby is now on a mission to help our wounded troops and their families. Significant proceeds from QUIET HERO go to the USO’s Operation Enduring Care program. Having served as a keynote speaker alongside many military leaders such as Admiral Mike Mullen, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Rita is working tirelessly to give voice and raise awareness on the critical issue of Post Traumatic Stress and the debilitating long term effects confronting our troops and thereby impacting all our citizenry.
She has become the national spokesperson for ICAMI’s (International Committee Against Mental Illness) stress disorders program and the United Stress Disorders Association, which focus on helping those with PTSD. It’s estimated more than half a million of our troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan alone will have some form of PTSD, with an estimated 18 veterans a day committing suicide.
QUIET HERO has also become required reading in psychology and social work courses focused on trauma and recovery in several US universities, including NYU and Fordham. Her father received a special commendation from the prestigious Medal of Honor Society for his bravery.
“I’ve been blessed to interview many world leaders, celebrities, and other notables,
yet the most important person I’ve ever sat down with is not one of them,
but my own dad.” - Rita Cosby
