Sunday Edition Honored with 2 SGM FanFair Award Nominations

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Sunday Edition, one of Nashville’s favorite groups, was greeted with news this week that they have been nominated for two SGM FanFair Awards. The nominees for this year’s SGM FanFair Awards were announced this week in a special press release announcement.

Sunday Edition received a nomination for Favorite New Excelling Artist – an award that honors artists who are either new or excelling to new heights in their ministries. In addition, group member Chris Unthank received a nomination for Favorite Young Excelling Individual. That award honors young individuals who are making strides in their career.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be nominated in these two categories,” mentioned Deon Unthank of Sunday Edition. “We are honored that our family, friends, and fans would think enough of us to place a vote for us in these two categories! Thank you to everyone who voted for us!”

Chris Unthank said, “I am absolutely astonished to be mentioned in this category. We never go out and sing for any kind of acknowledgement or recognition. We do it because it’s what we’re called to do, and we have a real love for this music. We want to thank everyone who voted for us, as well as thank those who will continue to vote for us. These are votes of confidence in our ministry. We appreciate them more than you can imagine.”

The nominees in the SGM FanFair Awards were chosen by the readers of Christian Voice Magazine and attendees of the SGM FanFair. The winners for the awards will be announced on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee at the 6th Annual SGM FanFair.

Sunday Edition will also be performing at SGM FanFair this year on Thursday night, May 6, 2010. For more information on how to vote, visit http://www.sgmfanfair.com .
