Beloved gospel singer Priscilla McGruder has passed away, according to family spokesperson Beverly McManus.
McManus posted on a recently created Facebook page, People Praying for Carroll & Priscilla Mcgruder, “Our beloved Priscilla has won the race, received her reward and is seeing it all from Heaven’s Point of View! Thank you all so much for love, prayers and support! We love you!

Surrounded by her loving family and in the comfort of her own home Priscilla Elaine McGruder passed away Thursday following an extensive illness. She was 61. Priscilla is survived by her husband of thirty four years Carroll L. McGruder, three children, six grandchildren and six siblings. Home Going Services will begin at 1:00PM on Wednesday May 5th, 2010 at First United Pentecostal Church, Kennett, Missouri
