NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With almost 50 years in full-time music ministry the Telestials are still finding success. The groups latest single, Everything, was named the #7 New Release of January 2010 by the Singing News and is #35 on The Singing News Chart for May. Everything was produced by Southern Gospel great, Michael Sykes and can be found on the Telestials latest album, I Can Call Jesus. “This is probably one of the most powerful songs I have ever sang. What a hope to be reminded that when Jesus died on the cross, He gave us Everything”, says lead singer Scott Lucas.

The Telestials have also been nominated for Album of The Year & Mixed Group of The Year in the 2010 Diamond Awards. “Knowing that the Diamond Awards are voted on by the fans makes being nominated a true honor”, says group founder Beth Glass. The Diamond Awards will be given out at the 2010 Branson Gospel Music Convention June 28th thru July 2. For more information on the Diamond Awards visit

About The Telestials
Keeping the Faith almost seems to be an out of date concept these days. After all, we live in an instant society. So it is rare to find people who have dedicated almost 50 years of their lives to keeping a ministry alive. But Jim and Beth Glass have done just that with this gospel group. The group was established back in 1963 with a trio of women (including Beth and her sister ) calling themselves The "Harmony" Trio - singing at church functions in 1966 they traveled to Atlanta, Ga. to record their first album.
With the addition of male vocals in 1969 the group started to expand. The Dove Award nominations started in 1976 with "Here They Come", In 1977 with "One Way Flight" and in 1978 with "Free Indeed." Other songs, consistent chart makers were, "Holy High and Lifted Up," "Help Wanted," "Somebody’s Coming," "One Day," "He Was Thinking Of Me," “Free,” and their latest, "Everything." Family has always been a strong component in the group. Through all the years, Beth’s husband, Jim has continued to manage the group, and the Glass Children have carried on the Family Tradition, now including grandchildren.
Getting the message out is the heart beat of the group, says Beth, "We know where the blessings come from, and we know the blesser". Current members are: Jim and Beth Glass, Jerry and Bethany Brown, Caleb Brown, and Scott Lucas.
