Dr Daryl S. Petree has served as an International Evangelist/ Singer-Songwriter since 1988. He is an Ordained Bishop with the Churches of God, Cleveland Tn. He continues to travel across America and into the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

1. Please tell us the name of your latest recording and your favorite song from that CD. What is the message behind this song?
Latest Recording: Good News. There are a lot of new ones on this project, but I'd say Lord It Was You is one that came right out of my soul. The past 6 years have been a real struggle. 2009 I was off the road for 11 months due to what my Dr described as complete exhaustion (among other things). In one of my darkest hours this prayer came out of my soul in the form of a song.
2. What is one group highlight from the last 12 months?
Getting back on the road after 11 months of sickness. 62 pounds lighter and a brand new vision, I am ready to go for God.
3. What is the furthest place you have been from your current hometown?
Probably Russia
4. What artist are you listening to right now?
Luciano Pavarotti (for whatever reason)
5. What was the best decade for music? Favorite artist from that decade?
It's all great to me. Kenny Hinson was one of the greats. His son Weston is one I'm watching closely these days. He is set on go.
6. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Couldn't say. I have most that are available already.
7. What would be your fantasy venue, the one stage in the world where you would like to sing?
David Letterman show.
8. Who is your favorite Christian author/teacher/evangelist?
Dr. Ray H Hughes
9. Who is your most favorite Bible person/character?
Besides Jesus? Probably Paul
10. Name a character trait or fruit of the spirit you would really like to develop in your life.
